What does a website cost and what drives the price?
The variables that actually move a website quote: page count, content, and integrations.
A LevelUp Digital website starts at $4,500. Most builds land between $5,000 and $10,000, larger sites run $10,000 to $15,000, and projects with custom development, dynamic pages, commerce, or personalization run $15,000 to $40,000. Here is what moves you between those bands.
The five things that actually drive the price
- Unique page templates, not page count. Forty pages built from six templates is a smaller job than twelve pages that each look different. Templates are the unit of work.
- Content. Whether we write the copy, you write it, or we interview your team and write it. Photography is the same question. Content is usually the largest swing in both cost and timeline.
- Custom functionality and integrations. A calculator, a searchable inventory, a portal, a quoting tool, or a connection to your ERP each add real development. This is what pushes a project into the $15,000 to $40,000 range.
- Migration volume. Three hundred blog posts with a URL structure change costs more than thirty pages.
- CRM wiring. Forms creating contacts, routing to owners, and attributing source is fast on HubSpot CMS and slower everywhere else.
What is not included
We build primarily on HubSpot CMS, where hosting, SSL, and the CDN come with the platform, so there is no separate hosting bill from us. If a build uses the Clean6 Pro theme framework, that license is $997 per site paid directly to Clean6 Pro. We are a Clean6 Pro partner and we rate it the best theme framework on the market, which is why we say so plainly rather than bundling it invisibly.
We occasionally do work below the $4,500 floor for charities when capacity allows. That is a case by case decision, not a standing program.
After launch
Most clients edit their own content, because we build on platforms a marketing person can use. For ongoing work, our flexible digital support retainers are Level 1 at 10 hours a month for $1,900, Level 2 at 15 hours for $2,775, Level 3 at 20 hours for $3,500, and Level 4 at 40 hours for $6,750. Net 15, monthly, 30 days notice to change or cancel.
