How does LevelUp Digital charge for ad management?

10% of ad spend with a $1,500/mo minimum, plus $350/mo for each additional ad platform.

LevelUp Digital charges 10% of ad spend for advertising management, with a minimum of $1,500 per month, plus $350 per month for each additional ad platform. That fee is separate from the ad spend itself, which you pay the platforms directly.

The math, worked out

  • $5,000 a month in spend: 10% is $500, so you pay the $1,500 minimum.
  • $10,000 a month in spend: 10% is $1,000, so you still pay the $1,500 minimum.
  • $15,000 a month in spend: 10% is exactly $1,500. This is the crossover point.
  • $20,000 a month in spend: the fee is $2,000.
  • Google plus Meta at $20,000 in spend: $2,000 plus $350 for the second platform, so $2,350.

Below $15,000 a month in spend you are paying the flat $1,500. Above it, the fee scales with you. The minimum exists because a small account still needs the same build, the same tracking and the same weekly attention as a large one.

Why a percentage and not a flat fee

A percentage model ties our revenue to the size of the program you are willing to fund, which only grows when the program is working. It is not a perfect incentive, and we will say so: the honest counterweight is that we will tell you to cut spend when the data says cut. We would rather keep a client at $8,000 a month than lose one at $30,000.

Month one is the build

The first month of an ad engagement is strategy, account structure, conversion tracking and creative. Campaigns launch in month two. You pay the $1,500 at contract start because that build is the work. Budget is agreed before each month so the fee is known in advance, and a mid month budget increase lands on the next invoice, never as a surprise.

You own the accounts and pay the platforms

Your ad accounts stay yours, on your card. We never front spend and never mark it up. Read how the management fee sits on top of spend and the minimum spend we recommend by channel before you set a budget. Full rates are on the retainers page, and the PPC service page covers what we actually do each month.
