How does onboarding a new client work at LevelUp Digital?

Kickoff, access and audit, strategy roadmap, then first deliverables and reporting.

Onboarding runs in four stages: kickoff and goals, access and a baseline audit, a roadmap, then first deliverables and the first report. For advertising engagements, month one is the build and campaigns launch in month two.

Stage one: kickoff

One working session to agree what success is measured against. Not impressions. A target number of qualified leads, a cost per lead you can live with, and where those leads land. We also agree the communication rhythm here so nobody wonders whether they are supposed to hear from us.

Stage two: access and baseline audit

This is the part that slows most engagements down, so it happens early. We need admin access to your ad accounts, analytics property, CRM, website and Google Business Profile. Then we audit what is there: is conversion tracking actually firing, do form submissions reach the CRM, is the ad account structure sane, does the site have the technical basics. Almost every audit finds at least one broken measurement. If HubSpot is the system, a portal audit can be scoped as its own piece.

Stage three: the roadmap

A written plan for the first 90 days with the sequence and the reasoning. What gets fixed first, what launches when, and what we are explicitly not doing yet. You approve it before anything is built.

Stage four: build and launch

For ads, month one is strategy, account structure, conversion tracking and creative, with campaigns live in month two. The $1,500 minimum is paid at contract start because that build is the work. For SEO, the first articles and technical fixes start inside the first month. For social, the content calendar and first batch of creative come before anything posts.

Then the first monthly report, which sets the baseline everything after is measured against.

What we need from you

Fast access approvals, one person who can decide, and honest answers about what has not worked. That is most of it. HubSpot onboarding, if you are also implementing the platform, is a parallel track: see what HubSpot onboarding looks like.
