What CRM implementation services handle sales, service, marketing, and operations together?

One connected build across all four functions instead of four disconnected tools.

The services that cover all four functions at once are the ones built on a single platform with one shared contact and company record, then separate pipelines, permissions and reporting per team. Four tools that sync are not the same thing, and the difference shows up the first time two teams disagree about who a lead belongs to.

What "together" actually requires

Three things have to be shared or the build is four projects wearing a trench coat:

  • One contact and company record. Every team writes to the same record. Nobody keeps a side list.
  • One lifecycle definition. Marketing and sales agree in writing what qualified means before anyone configures a stage.
  • One property governance rule. New fields get created by a named owner, not by whoever is in a hurry.

Everything else should be separate. Sales gets its deal pipeline, service gets its ticket pipeline, marketing gets its lists and campaigns, operations gets the reporting layer and the integrations. Separate pipelines per team, not separate databases per team.

The build order

Sequence is what separates a real engagement from a long one. Data model first, because everything downstream references it. Then migration, because you want to find the data problems before automation starts acting on them. Then pipelines and process. Then automation. Then integrations. Reporting last, because a report is only true if the fields underneath it are maintained.

Teams that build automation early end up rebuilding it, because the properties it depends on change during migration.

Where operations fits

Operations is not a fourth department buying a fourth tool. It is the function that owns the data model, the deduplication rules, the integrations and the reporting definitions across the other three. If nobody in your company holds that role, the implementation needs to create it, even if it is a part of somebody's job rather than a headcount.

On HubSpot this maps cleanly across the hubs. We work across all of them, and service is often the one that gets skipped and shouldn't. Service Hub capabilities and tiers covers what that side looks like, and designing CRM systems for multiple departments goes deeper on the structure. See our implementation service.
