Can I pause, downgrade, or cancel my retainer?

Yes, with 30 days notice, and you keep everything we built

Yes. Retainers need 30 days notice to pause, change tier, or end. No penalty, no exit fee.

Changing tiers

Moving up or down a tier takes effect the following billing cycle. Businesses are seasonal and budgets move, and we would rather right-size the retainer than have you cancel because one tier stopped fitting. If you are consistently running out of hours, that is a conversation about moving up, not about overage surprises.

Pausing

Pausing is fine, and for seasonal businesses it is often the right call. Two things to know. Paid campaigns lose their learning when they go dark and restart in the learning period when they come back, so a pause has a real cost beyond the paused months. SEO does not stop the day you stop paying, but it does stop compounding, and competitors do not pause.

Cancelling

You keep everything. Your HubSpot portal is yours, your ad accounts are yours and always were, your website is yours, and the documentation we wrote during handoff is yours. We do not hold assets hostage and we do not build things only we can maintain. See how we handle training and handoff.

That is deliberate. We build systems you can own, not ones that require us to survive. If you leave, you should be able to keep running.

The one fixed term

The $700 per month HubSpot support package has a 3-month minimum. Everything else is 30 days.
