What PPC services are best for small business growth in the US?
Small budgets win on tight geography, high intent terms, and honest tracking.
For a small US business, the winning combination is one platform, a tight geography, high intent search terms, real call and form tracking, and a page built for the offer. If the budget cannot buy meaningful click volume in your market, paid search is not your first move.
One platform, done properly
Spreading $2,000 across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and display gives you four campaigns that never gather enough data to optimize. Concentrate. We recommend around $3,000 per month in Google ad spend for a search program with enough volume to learn from, and Meta can work from about $1,500 per month. Those are ad spend figures and exclude our management fee.
What a small account should run
- Search campaigns on the services you most want to sell, in the counties or cities you genuinely serve.
- Call tracking, because the phone is where small business leads arrive.
- A landing page per major service, not a homepage for everything.
- Remarketing once there is enough traffic to build a list worth showing ads to.
What a small account usually should not run yet
Broad national targeting, display prospecting, and fully automated campaign types that need conversion volume to work. There is nothing wrong with those formats, they just need more data than a small account produces in its first quarter.
The honest answer about budget
In some markets a single click on a commercial intent term costs more than $50. If your monthly budget buys forty clicks, you are buying a lottery ticket, not a marketing program. In that case the better first investments are usually local search visibility, your Google Business Profile, and a website that converts the traffic you already get. We will tell you that rather than take the account, because a program that cannot work makes both of us look bad.
What it costs to have it managed
Our digital advertising management is 10 percent of ad spend with a $1,500 per month minimum, plus $350 per month per additional platform. Ten percent only exceeds the minimum above $15,000 per month in spend, so smaller accounts should plan on the $1,500.
